Meet Your Councillors – Community Drop-In Event -13th June 2026

Caersws Community Council is inviting residents from across Caersws, Llanwnog, Clatter, Pontdolgoch and Bwlch y Garreg to a relaxed community drop-in event on Saturday 13th June, between 10:00am and 12:00 noon at Caersws Village Hall.

The event is an opportunity for local people to come along for a free tea, coffee and cake, meet their Community Councillors, put a face to a name, chat informally and share ideas, concerns or suggestions about the local area.

There is no formal agenda or speeches — just a friendly opportunity to talk about village life, local projects and the issues that matter to residents.

Whether you would like to raise a concern, ask what the Council does, discuss ideas for improving the community, or simply meet local people and organisations, everyone is welcome to drop in at any time during the morning. Children are also very welcome.

Community councils play an important role in representing local residents and supporting community services, facilities and local projects.

Local Groups and Volunteers Welcome

As part of the event, Caersws Community Council is also inviting local volunteer groups, clubs and organisations to take part.

Each group attending will be offered space to display information about what they do, promote upcoming activities and encourage new volunteers or members to get involved. It is hoped the event will help strengthen links between local organisations and residents, while also showcasing the fantastic community work taking place across the area.

The event is free for organisations to attend, but groups are asked to confirm in advance so that tables and space can be arranged.

If your organisation would like to join us on the day, please contact the Council by 1st June via email clerk@caerswscommunitycouncil.co.uk or by phone on 07534 990237.

Even if your group cannot attend, we would greatly appreciate any help in sharing or displaying the event poster within the community.

We look forward to welcoming residents, local groups and volunteers for what we hope will be a friendly and enjoyable community morning.
