Caersws Community Council is made up of publicly elected volunteers representing areas within the Ward, including Clatter, Pontogoch, and Llanwnog. We meet on the third Wednesday of each month (except December) at 7:00 pm, alternating between Clatter and Caersws Village Hall. Members of the public are welcome to attend and participate in our Public Participation section. Our meetings cover a wide range of local issues, from highway maintenance and planning matters to community events and celebrations.
Our responsibilities include the upkeep of Caersws public toilets, Llanwnog and Shiloh cemeteries, the War Memorial, local defibrillators, grass cutting and seating in public spaces, and the Play Park. We also support local charities and organisations through grants.
Our website is a valuable resource, providing comprehensive information about the council’s operations and activities. You can use the search function to find what you need, and if you cannot locate specific information, please contact us directly. We are committed to keeping the community informed with transparent and accessible information. Additionally, the site includes useful links to Powys County Council portals for residents.
